I am on disability SSDI from having Schizoaffective bipolar type. Mine is usually considered lifetime permanent disability, because it affects my ability to cope and work.

If, under the ACA, I get married after 2014 and together we gross under $50,000/yr with her and my income combined, will I stay on Medicaid (keep in mind the expansion of Medicaid)? I'm expecting I will be able to stay on it and just pay a higher spenddown pay in amount. Does this sound right?

Also, just to note, she has her own employer's insurance and is covered.
