That's a quote from william glasser.

Doesn't sound that far flung to me.

Of course in the next sentence of the piece he indicated that he was thrown out of his training program.

The only thing i know from my own experience is that if there is a choice to be made that anxiety/depression can trick you into thinking there isn't.
