At my last session my Therapist asked me if I was "trying to figure her out" (i.e. trying to find out her style without actually asking her) and I said that I have and have been for the last several weeks. I think I have a good grasp on her style but one issue that I have been unable to grasp is the issue of touch, she seems to avoid contact with me when we enter and leave the Therapy room however that could just be because she works primarily with people who have the condition that I have (Asperger's) and might jump (or even get paranoid) at the slightest of touch, however if the client wants to be touched I am still unsure on whether she would touch back (and what I primarily mean is giving a hug). Next week I am planning on showing her some of my pictures (she already told me I could do so) and I am planning on trying to set next to her so she can see them on my camera, if she does let me than that could tell me a lot.
I was wondering if anyone else has done the same.
