Thanks everyone. So here goes with what I found out today. I was at my friends and we were discussing prescription narcotic drug abuse and fraud with a State Police Trooper and the name of a doc in my doc's practice came up as over-prescribing narcotics. Thus the issue with my doc and her touchiness on my pain management. Well, I understand now and I know her reaction is hers. There is so much drug abuse around me and so many people whom you would never suspect selling it. The issue is massive. I feel badly that docs who are good feel like they have to watch their backs. Suddenly it all makes sense.
