Yes, Lamictal. Lamictal (Lamotrigine), many, including myself, have found to work great,especially for the depressive end of BP-II.
Compared to some other meds in it's class,it is non-sedating (for most using it) and does not cause weight gain for most people.
As usual, medications are not a "one size fits all" sort of thing, some meds agree with some while others may need a different kind(s) as well as dosages.
