I wish I did years ago, but didn't have the courage. My mom was the exact way to the tee kind of weird.
At the end of her life I felt closer to her more then ever and she explained to me why she was that way with me. Yes it is unacceptable. She hurt me in many ways and that I will never forget. At least I heard her words before she died. She was still the same way when she died, but by then I knew why.
