I used to crochet quite a few years ago and when I was a kid and enjoyed it quite a lot, although I never reached any great proficiency. I found it really relaxed me, the repetition with instant sense of completion really worked to calm my anxiety.

Trouble is, I've developed carpal tunnel and tendinitis now, and am a little skeptical as to whether or not sewing will quickly agitate these problems. I'd like to really dive into whichever sewing style I choose, so I don't want to dive in and discover, once I'm capable, that the more advanced stuff really debilitates me.

Any insight...? Kind of random, I know. Haha.
