I'm willing to live with dry mouth because I'd rather deal with this than some other side effects (ie: weight gain). And the regimen I'm on seems to be working (or, rather, they're not making things worse).

Do any of you experience dry mouth? Have you found any ways to cope with it? I'd love to her your suggestions!
I too live with dry mouth. It's worst an hour or two after I take effexor with breakfast. Then I drink soda - 3 or 4 cans a day. Try chewing sugar-free gum instead of drinking something. Or suck on hard candy (Life Savers, mints, etc. - watch out for sugar content - you don't want to ruin your teeth.)

Also, make sure you tell your psychiatrist at every appointment. There's no reason you have to put up with dry mouth.

Hang in there. BP is a very tough disease to live with.
