That is a good question. I'm not looking forward to the rest of my life either. I agree with you on every level. Life is completely unfair. That is one reason why I will never have kids. I would never want anyone to experience this. I see no hope at all, my depression has lasted about 18 years so far (I'm 23), I don't see it going away any time soon.
