She sits in front of me and a bit to my right, about 5 feet or a bit less away from me. She is in a stuffed chair, and I sit on a couch. I sit on the corner that is closer to her. She usually sits with her feet up on a stool. I can relate, as T and I are both short. For short people, it is uncomfortable and can be bad for your back if your feet aren't high enough. I usually sit with my legs crossed at the ankles and a bit to the side.

She has done EMDR with me, and she sits very close for that, her hand is maybe two feet from my face in EMDR. I don't mind it at all. I don't have space issues with people in general and definitely not with T.
