If your feeling suicidal then a hospital is a place to keep you safe from harming yourself.

For me I impulsive and sometimes self destructive. Having attempted suicide twice it didn't provide me any relief and made thing more difficult to deal with.

Have you tried therapy? Talking to my therapist helps me deal with things better. I can understand where those thoughts come from and try to work on the things that make me feel trapt.

People also have a lot of success with day programs. You would go to therapy 5 days a week and it provides a more intensive treatment. Most therapist see a person weekly but that may not be enough in a crisis.

I think you should try to seek help to deal with the things that make you want to end your life. Talking to someone would be a good place to start. Things are a lot easier to control when you try to help yourself.

If you try to take your life then there are two possibilities. One is that you succeed and everyone that cares about you will be devastated. Or you fail and end up in a hospital and don't have any control over your treatment.

It can be hard to find the right person to help and it may take some time to see the results but you don't have to feel like this forever.
