I tried alone too, but I went for treatment,cause I just was consumed and came close, embracing the idea of ending it all for marital and other reasons, depression, etc.
C'mon, you must stay here, on earth, we all have a purpose, rather we realize it or not, if you get treatment and follow the program they want you to follow, you will get through this.
