I once left my new bottle of pain meds in a hotel room and when I went back to get them, of course, they were long gone and certainly not in the lost and found.

I called my doc thinking he would suspect me of trying to get extras, but he was ok. He said he gives everybody one pass per year for a lost/flushed/stolen/spilled in the mud.. bottle, but if it happens again he raises the flag.

So, if it's the first time, maybe they won't treat you like a drug seeker. Especially, if you ask them for ways to help prevent that happening again. People love to tell you how they think they can help you do things better. (Even when you already know
