Oh- I wrote this that same night... When I am unable to dance, I write, so this is the other one I have.

A broken promise
A broken heart
I wish I knew

I've said it before

I only make a promise
If I can come through.

I made a promise
That for only tonight

I would fight that fight

No harm should have come
Especially to me
I broke that promise
I messed up, you see

It wasn't on purpose
I promise you that
But what does that mean,
since my promise fell flat?

A moment of distraction
Was all it took
I cut my finger
My whole world shook

It wasn't much..
It barely bled
But how can you ever
Believe what I've said?
