I had something similar happen to me when I was suicidal and in the hospital. This alleged student told me that everyone is depressed, all you have to do is walk and join a church. Just like what happened to you, EXTREMELY INVALIDATING and not someone safe to trust with your emotional stability! Please take care of yourself.
