Is email the normal way your T communicates with clients and makes appointments? I do the same thing when people don't respond to my emails and today in my T session, I learned that it is a type of cognitive distortion. There could be many reasons why someone isn't responding to my email but I take it personally. Anyway, it sounds like you have connected with your T because trust has been established so I wouldn't recommend going to someone else.

What I am discovering in myself is that I want my ED cured now and or maybe even yesterday...but I am not going to get my wish unfortunately. It will take a lot of time and effort on my part and therapy is an important part of that. Therapy is not all of it though...it is only one hour of our week (if we go on a weekly basis) so a lot of life is lived in between those sessions. I think besides therapy homework, you might ask your T for a better sense of the focus of therapy and how you use it to make positive changes in your day-to-day life.
Thanks for this!
