No, she definitely doesn't think I'm stupid. I have a higher level of education than she does, and she's had to ask me to define words I've used on occasion. She also asked to read a copy of an article that I published and, while she followed most of it, she said there were a few parts she didn't understand. We usually chalks those things up to being trained in different areas, but then she becomes surprised when I do know a lot about therapy, psychology, and psychoanalysis. For instance, I use Freud and Lacan in my work from time and time, and she's admitted that I have a better grasp on Freud than she does!
