One of my best friends went to the same T briefly. It was good and bad. It was fun to have someone to talk to about him. It was irritating also because he would tell her she was pretty, and he would go over time with her sometimes. At that point, he had never commented on my looks and had never gone over time with me. So I got a little pissy and jealous about that. Overall though, I think it was actually a good thing because it was really helpful for her, and led to good discussions between she and I, and T and I both.
