Working out when ill.... Not a good thing. Your body needs rest. Drink lemon and honey. If you cant sleep at night try propping yourself up with some pillows. When I had a cold I had to sleep in a recliner so I could get some air in. Plegm is yukky but its our body trying to get rid of the junk in your system.

Drink plenty........ and rest.
