Congratulations, and deep breaths. I know anything new is scary. I'm just moving out of supportive transitional housing. I've been here for a year and a half, and it's mostly been good. I don't know what your situation will be, but I have my own room, share 2 bathrooms with 5 other women, and meals are included and prepared for us and eaten communally. We have to sign up for chores each month, but it's not onerous.
I could have stayed here 2 full years, but I'm going back to school in January, and wanted to be moved before then, so that I didn't have to apartment hunt and move in January.
It's not the greatest living situation in the world, but it was useful to me when I needed the help, last spring / summer.
