A tornado is created of swirling wind/air. As such it is a symbol of consciousness and refers to powerful mental activity. The circling, spirally winds of the tornado reflect the idea of thoughts which are going round and round, as when going over and over an issue. Such thinking is often given power by anger which leads to carving out a physical path or course of action which is destructive rather than constructive. Note the strip of chaos and destruction remaining after a tornado has passed by. The tornado reflects a way of thinking which is a danger to the dreamer and anyone else in their vicinity.
The multiple tornados can simply be illustrating the increased range of subject areas that this angry thinking has come to cover. Multiple tornados also greatly increase the range of destructiveness it causes.
