I am taking 200 of Lamictal along with 1200 of Neurotin, 150 of Vistaril, and 25 of Trazadone. The way my psych explained it to me is that Lamictal is a mood stabilizer (I take it for mood swings associated with BPD), supposed to keep you from feeling such extreme emotions. You may still feel depressed and sad, but it's supposed to help the feeling not consume you. She also said it's supposed to give you a slower acceleration from going from 0-100 when you're in high stress situations. I still have crappy feelings with it, but I do think it helps.
