Hi

after a $200 bill for geodon from Walmart I contacted medicare. For $1 a month the tier group covers seroquel or zyprexa for bipolar. So just wanted to throw that out for ppl on medicare with bipolar.

I'm extremely afraid bc everyone keeps telling me these are the worst anti psychotics for weight gain. I'm needing to lose weight in a big way but can't afford a different med. Has anyone found these meds to be weight neutral?

I know I should be grateful that I have ssdi and Medicare but really think I'll go off any more meds that cause weight gain. I'm wondering if I can just get by on lamictal alone? I know that sounds shallow to some, but the depression from being unable to get back to my normal weight is having an awful affect on my life.
