I've always found that once somebody gets married to someone that is not already part of the group, they change regarding how the deal with there friends. But I find it very surprising that someone would defriend you on Facebook of all things. I wouldn't take it personally, he obviously is acting that way toward others as well. Sorry you lost your friend though, I know it hurts. All we can do in these situations is move on.
