Hi Allme,

My DOC was mainly pot; I smoked it from morning to night all day everyday. It is very addictive and I had to join AA to get help. For me it helped to eat sugar like you said, cut way back on caffeine, and read online support and recovery literature. If you're not into AA there are other resources like Rational Recovery or I also like this site
Drug Rehabilitation | Drug Addiction Treatment Center | Alcoholism | Addiction Mental Health | Directory Substance Abuse Detox Programs | SoberRecovery

One thing that helped me contine in sobriety for the past 9+ months is never wanting to go through getting clean all over again. There is information I read on P.A.W.S. which is a type of withdrawl that restarts each time a person relapses. Also as was stated above change your friends/delete numbers/find safe hangouts etc. I told all my using friends that I was getting sober and eventually they left me alone.

Good luck to you,

TnT
