I formula fed my first after the first few weeks, but this baby is my last (had a tubal during her birth) so I am determined to breastfeed through the first year at least.

He was 36w 1d. I had gallstones and was in the hospital for 5 weeks on morphine. Not a fun time. I had a 3 day induction from h&ll, 73 hours of labour. He was 4lbs 12oz and perfectly healthy. He did his car seat test at 12 hours and was off all monitoring (he drove them insane pulling off his leads). They only kept him because of jaundice, he was in the NICU for 5 days total. They pissed me off when they put "mother's narcotic drug use" as the reason for his prematurity.

I did not want to be on morphine but 12 weeks of him kicking my gallbladder was not fun. I had emergency gallbladder surgery when he was 9 days old. No bad side effects for Robbie, but he is still underweight. Our family doc thinks that will always be the case.
