'The Hours' is a movie I only recently watched & fell in love with it. It's a little triggery since it deals with suicide but also the character of Virginia Woolf very astutely talks about her experience & how it has been both her salvation & her destruction. It's a compelling movie & I typically don't watch ones like that.
'Manic' was great -- Chad was a great representation of BP & I also think that the focus on anger from Lyle's character can often be a focus in Bipolar. And I've heard good things about 'Mr. Jones'.
Even though 'Joshua' is a horror movie with the focus on a completely different character, the Mother is clearly Bipolar.
I also have watched a lot of other movies, not specifically about Bipolar, that really do touch on a lot of the issues. Depression, risk-taking, a sense of exclusion, substance abuse, etc. 'Prozac Nation', 'Girl Interrupted', T from 'the United States of Tara' reminds me of a very typical euphoric-manic state.
I'd list off more, but I'm sure additional good ones will come in the ensuing comments.
