Nice to meet you, I am Patti.
Ya know, I think it's hard for most of us to rely on Him when things seem to be out of control ( ie. panic attacks, depression, etc. ) We don't 'feel' as if He is there or even care. Oh, deep in our hearts we know these things but for some reason, we are being tried/tested/refined, so-to-speak. It's not a very comfortable thing to be tested ..... but He has a purpose in all things, so I try to just 'let go and let Him' . It's the only way I find comfort....and believe me, I have tried to find comfort in all the wrong places in my past. I am gonna try to stay His scourse now.... its gotta be better than anything I have tried.

Trouble With Prayer?

Do you have trouble with prayer? Like, do you continue to pray and pray and pray over a situation and nothing seems to change?

That's just it... things only SEEM to not change... it only SEEMS as if He is not listening....oh, we of little faith......

Ok, I admit it. I too, wonder sometimes if He hears my requests, pleads and cries......but my heart tells me He does hear.....

I also have come to the realization that to please Him is to be thankful for what we do have.....for without Him, we can do nothing.....

So, I got to thinking, maybe I should stop asking Him for stuff and just praise Him for all I do have.......

Thank you Lord, for my friends, there are many who are friendless.
Thank you Lord, for my home, there are many homeless.
Thank you Lord, that I can walk, there are many who are crippled.
Thank you Lord, that I can see, there are many who are blind
Thank you Lord, that I can hear, there many who deaf.
Thank you Lord, I have food, there are many who are hungry.

So let us be thankful, because we have a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Hebrews 12:28
