I know of several folks who've done well on Topamax, though I didn't. In my case, my doc added it to augment the other antidepressant I was on, and also because I had gained too much weight from the other, and topamax can help with that. In my case, it just made me more depressed. I was only on it for eight weeks.

I can think of one person, though, who had a great response to it. Her emotions were much more even, and she felt much more able to handle what was going on in her life.
