He got a 100 on his quiz, and his friends actually bought him presents and took him to dinner the day before for his birthday. They realized he was far from home, and so wanted to make him feel cared about and special. He said people just popped in periodically all day, which was distracting but really nice. One guy was carrying the present around most of the day waiting to run into him. He seems to have found a really cool, thoughtful group of friends, and I am thinking this will be a real turning point for him at college. So far he has been massively stressed and not enjoying himself much. I hope this is the start of the fun time for him in college.
