My wife has schiophrenia since 1990, and she takes zypyexa for it. Recently she has been having problems during the day only. If she has sugar in the morning for breakfast, 2 glasses of soda, 4 poudered donuts and she makes it through the day without an attack. When she has an attack she usually did not eat, then she comes home she eats and it will last for about 5 hours then she is okay again. I would like to know if this is something or I am just fooling myself. Could these symtoms be because the meds are causing her to be hypoglycemic at times which causes her to get paranoid at times.
