Maybe you should talk to your parents now about what has been happening with you. I know it is hard to tell parents about such things. Heck, I didn't tell my mom and dad until i ended up in the hospital with severe depression and symbols carved into my hand. Couldn't quite avoid it anymore at that point. I was 32 at the time.

But as a mother, my daughter is 14 now, I would truely like to know if she started in with this behavior because I know that we can be helped. I would be worried and I probably would get a wee bit freaky and teary eyed but I would be glad she told me. Finding out on holiday, however, would totally suck and make it more difficult to respond appropriately. Parents try to act smart and grown up around our kids but we are just as lost as anyone.
