Hey everyone. I am trying to move on from an ex. I'm sure there are millions who are like me. I'm going to share my thoughts about it right now, as I am trying to move on. Not sure if I can post this in this particular forum, but hey, it's about exes, right? And that's under relationships...I guess.

Earlier today, as I try to write my feelings down, I came up with this:

"There will always be a place in your heart for him. Just keep it locked up forever.

All those feelings of hurt, anger, angst, regret, sadness, depression, waste, keep it all together in a ball of negativity, and lock it up. Don’t tell anyone about it. (by anyone I meant my family and friends, PC doesn't count though) Because it will always be there, and it doesn't mean you have to keep on revisiting it and see if you can change it. It won’t. Your feelings for him will always be there. And it’s okay to have those feelings. It’s normal. Take it as an opportunity to be stronger. You DON'T want to be with him. Remember that. Don't change that thought.

Think about what you did, and your reactions, your actions, and everything that was related to this experience, and see what you can learn from it, in terms of friendships, feelings, and your own personality. Learn from it, and don’t stop learning from this important life lesson. It’s okay to not be in a relationship with him. It’s alright to have feelings. It’s okay. It’s normal."

And any thoughts or opinions, sharing your experience, will be most helpful.
