Try music for motivation, Idk how effective it is in general, but all music lovers I know respond very well to this method.
I play dubstep in my room to help clean and to distract myself. I have good speakers so I get to hear and feel the bass pretty well. Maybe I should start a music list on my phone and listen to it in public to avoid any meltdowns (with ear buds).
