Of course we can't diagnose anything, but that sounds somewhat like my hypomania, except I don't eat much when in that state.

As opposed to my most recent mania (which I'm still coming down from) when I was hearing music that wasn't playing and seeing shapes morph into scary figures. Not quite at the same level as Moose's, to be sure, but bad enough. It's all relative.
