@lil didgee - I don't know if it would have helped you, but I would have drawn a picture to figure this sort of thing out. I would have scaled it from 5 meters to 5cm to make it reasonable to draw, and worked it out that way. I did all right at trig but I don't know if it would come back to me or not if I set out to work a lesson or test.
