I hate them, too. The days leading to certain holidays, my neighbors set off so many that I've actually called the cops to complain. I have dogs, and the constant fireworks cause them to bark. Not only that, but sleep is hard enough for my mom as it is! I can sympathise with hating them. It is my opinion that they should only be set off on the holiday itself.
