Sorry to hear! I've found that medication can slow down or speed up my thoughts. The benzo's slow it down obviously and so do antipsychotics like Latuda and certain antidepressants! I wouldn't mix alcohol with a benzo though! Benadryl will help, and a script for Neurontin will slow down the neural activity as well. All the best!!
