This sounds like a large center with multiple providers? Just go to the receptionist and schedule another appointment with someone else. If your old therapist asks simply tell them you want to see new people, you don't have to explain yourself... your therapist is getting paid to care about how you feel, if they can't handle rejection it's not your problem. It seems to me the more you expand on the issues the more awkward the situation could become, so I think the best course of action is to actually say as little as possible.
