Thank you for sharing your story. It sounds like a lot of things to handle at a very small age. The fact that your brother had to sleep with a baseball bat says a lot of how traumatic it must have been for you and your family. I can't even imagine how much your mom must have gone thru....it must have taken her a lot of courage to walk out of her marriage.

Clearly your stepdad was stalking your mom when she walked out.

Good to know that all the abuse period is behind you and you guys made a new start after moving to a new state.
