Thanks fellow PC'ers for answering my POLL. I will keep it open as long as I am able to.

This was just an FYI for me. I noticed that a lot of members put in posts not to add graphics, because no one with Dial-up can load them. I had Dial-up for a while and the whole thing is, you can load them it just may take longer then having Dsl or Broadband. With this info it helps me to know which is used more then the other.
As of today, In reviewing the results Dial-up is not used as often as people may think.

Broadband is a technically meaningless term invented by marketeers that basically means "go heap faster than modem"
Both DSL and Cable are "broadband" technologies, according to the marketeers.

DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line and it is essentially a band of frequencies that is too high for the human ear to hear, placed on a telephone line, and done so in a way that allows these frequencies to carry data at a high rate of speed, compared to a modem. DSL is used as a slang term by the general public to mean "Internet access over a DSL line".

Dial-up access is a form of Internet access through which the client uses a modem connected to a computer and a telephone line to dial into an Internet service provider's (ISP) node to establish a modem-to-modem link, which is then routed to the Internet.
Despite the advent of widely available broadband Internet access in most parts of the Western world, many people worldwide still connect via dial-up simply because there is no high speed Internet in their area or because it has a minimum cost.

IMHO~ Once again, I feel that this is being reviewed by more members here then it would have in the Tech Support forum.

Thanks again for responding to my POLL
