W just called and a girl who lives down the road from her father just showed up at his door with her backpack and school books and asked if he would take her to the Salvation Army as her step dad just kicked her out. He has known this kid for years and she is a good kid, doesnt drive, doesn't go out or have many friends etc. I can't believe some parents! She said she had no one to call and didnt know where the Salvation Army even was ( 12 miles from her house ) but that is where they told her to go , so she did. I am heartbroken over this, as it brings back memories of my own. WTF is wrong with people?
