1. Music - Sometimes I put on my earphones and sing at the top of my lungs for hours. This helps to distract from looping / racing thoughts, helps to tire me out, and also helps expel the emotions that have built up.
2. Mindfulness, this includes journalling, instead of going off at someone, I do my best to take a step back and spew venom into my journal.
3. Sleep. I force myself to sleep off the shyttiness, also its an escape from the emotions and mental turmoil.
Ps. 2 more because I'm chatty
4. Bubble baths, I mainly use it for distraction (I drag it out) and skin crawling anxiety. Vigourous scrubbing feels like a physical relief from the skin crawling.
5. Series marathons are great distraction too, but I haven't been doing much of that lately.
