I am sure a lot of our issues are genetic and some come from conditions in the womb (left-handedness, for example) but they are not our "mother's" issues. We don't start with fully diagnosed difficulties of any sort because there are no words for "memories" of any sort. We all have genetic vulnerabilities and personalities; that's part of our survival as a species plan; you need introverted types as well as the fearless who go out hunting the saber tooth tiger

You need people with good memories to remember the clan stories and we all have to die of something; some people are born with their lungs not quite as good (I have asthma, which lungs I assume I inherited from my maternal grandmother who died of emphysema, a 3 pack-a-day smoker) and some have heart issues (my father had a genetic heart issue that was not discovered until he was in his 50's), I am pretty sure I'll die of "internal"/gut issues and/or stroke (rather than heart, and I have no cancer anywhere in my family medical history back a couple hundred years), etc. No reason mental proclivities, like degree of anxiety, depression, etc. should not be genetic; we all know happy babies and fussy ones. No need to "blame" it on just the mother or just the womb; experience is a lot stronger as they are just aptitudes or possibilities, not determinants before we are born. Sure, if your mother has a rough life, is anxious, you are probably going to have a rough life and be raised by an anxious mother making you anxious! Doesn't need just the womb and development.
