The thing that made me smile about his reply is that I sent the I'm stopping email and expected nothing in reply... I didn't ask him his opinion or ask him to reply or word anything as a question so he didn't have to reply.
But he has a client privacy policy to not discuss anything via email more than schedule or fees or we can talk about this more next session. So it looks like he'd like to say something but his own rules are preventing him. and that in some odd way makes me smile.
