brookwest, I've had a similar experience. I was living in a camper in the woods for a year before my family intervened and forced me to move. I have not been able to get my own place but I am living with my parents and contributing to the household. I'm on a wait list for a rent reduced apartment so I hope to have my own place at some point in time. I really appreciate having a real bed, bathroom and stuff like that...living rough really sucks.
