Getting a tattoo is something I am seriously considering, and I already have a design chosen (it's a symbol of somethi ng important to me). However, as my GF said, it is permanent, and I feel somewhat nervous because I don't know if this is what I want 20 years from now. How can you make a permanent choice and not have doubts?

Does anyone here have a tattoo? How did you reconcile doubts you had and how do you feel about having it done?
