I usually just get the visual ones. I've gotten the auditory ones, but they don't freak me out as much for some reason. The visual ones freak me out the most. I'm not sure how common they are, but it was after explaining them that something seemed to click on my pdoc's face.

I still get them occasionally, but they've slowed down a lot since I started lamictal. It does have a list of its own side effects, though... If you want one with few side effects, you could be honest with your pdoc about that. But if the hallucinations are interfering with your life, it's always a good idea to bring them up.
