Hi,
Perhaps it is not similar but after I became a disabled person, oh Gosh, I really learned what discrimination is, and that is not good at all. You become a second class citizen. A non person for some, a kind of puppy for others. Men would kiss your forehead ( I would kill them). People would fear you, think that you are not normal, that you are "different", that they would die if they were like you (and they tell you "I do not know how you do it" and I would kill them). And for them it is perfectly fine to do all these things because you are disabled. Oh, and if you complain for something and it is your right, Ok, they think you are resentful, or they pity you.
