its not a question of just taking into account the exchange rates, with the current exchange rates across the board i get aprox 2 for the price of 1 where ever i decide to go with the strength of the £,
its the cost of living i need to work out, and by picking a product sold worldwide has a example i can work out what is going to be best for me, for example i wont be needing accomadation, i have a tent and sleeping bag, so thats money saved, i will be cooking my own food, more money saved there, budget flights are a must, and traveling internally when i get there will be on a motorbike i hire for the week or possibly 2, cheap petrol and insurance compared to a car, i will also have to have traveling medical insurance before i travel anyware.
i know i sound like i am being a miser but i dont go on holidays where i have to spend a lot, the biggest expenses are going to be the flights and bike hire/insurance which will be paid for months in advance, i just dont want to end up running out o money when i am wherever i decide to go because i havent taken into account a unexpected expence, i will be on a tight budget so i cant afford to make a mistake and by planning the pros and cons now i can hopefully avoid a few of my previous mistakes when i have travelled overseas before, the biggest one is i will not travel to a country that doesnt speak english anymore, they are just to stressfull when things go wrong, so that eliminates europe ( except gibralter been there done that i lived there for 6 months before i got kicked out the country by the military for rock climbing up gibralter rock lol), africa ( mostly french speakers) so that leaves australia, newzealand, canada or america to choose from
